1. Curriculum for Individual Perfumers

Overview: This curriculum is designed for independent perfumers who seek to align their practices with NPA’s standards of natural perfumery. It covers ethical sourcing, studio practices, wild foraging, and the ethical decision-making frameworks needed to produce and market natural perfumes responsibly.

Modules:

  • Module 1: Ethical Sourcing of Materials

Certification Process and Fees

  1. Application Fee: Covers administrative costs and the expertise of NPA’s certifying “nose.” This fee is non-refundable.
  2. Annual License Fee: €150 per year for individual perfumers, covering certification renewal and badge use, with an additional €50 fee for each new perfume certification (first perfume included with initial certification).
  3. Transparency and Ethics: Applicants must provide honest, detailed documentation throughout the process to align with NPA’s ethical standards.
